Privacy Policy

This describes what WeemFX collects when you create an account, use the website, or run WeemFX Farm, and what it's used for. It covers the WeemFX website and desktop software (together, the "Service").

1. What we collect

Creating an account collects your name and email (or, if you sign up with Google, the name/email Google shares with us). We also store:

• Licence records — which products you hold a licence for, its plan and status, and expiry.
• Single-seat session info — when you sign in from the WeemFX Farm Server tray, we store the signed-in machine's name and a device identifier, so we can show "this account is signed in on <PC name>" and enforce one active machine per account. We don't collect this from machines that only submit or monitor jobs, only the one signed in via the tray's Account dialog.
• Support tickets — the subject, messages, and priority/status of anything you submit from your account dashboard.
• Basic technical data — IP address and request logs kept by our hosting and database providers as a normal part of operating a website (see "Who we share data with" below), not something we separately collect ourselves.

We don't collect anything from render jobs themselves — scene files, render output, and job settings stay between your Server and Workers; WeemFX Farm's licence check only ever sends your account credentials and machine identifier, never your project data.

2. What we use it for

• Operating your account: signing you in, showing your licences and downloads, issuing the free-beta licence automatically at sign-up.
• Enforcing the single-seat licence model described in the Terms of Service.
• Responding to support tickets.
• Occasionally emailing you about your account (confirming your email, password resets, significant changes to the Service) — not marketing, and not sold or given to anyone for their own marketing.

3. Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run WeemFX, each of whom processes data on our behalf under their own privacy/security terms — we don't sell data to anyone, for any reason:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (this is where your account, licence, and ticket data actually lives).
• Cloudflare — hosts the website and domain, and sees standard web traffic/request logs as a result.
• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in, in which case Google shares your name/email with us per its own sign-in flow.
• Our email provider — sends account emails (confirmation, password reset) on our behalf.

4. Cookies and local storage

The website uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to keep you signed in between visits — this is how Supabase Auth keeps a session. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. If website analytics are ever added, this section will be updated to say so before they go live.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account is a manual request right now (submit a ticket, or email us — see "Contact" below) rather than a self-service button; doing so removes your profile and licence records, since they cascade from your account in our database.

6. Your rights

You can review the personal information we hold about you (your profile, licences, and tickets) any time by signing in to your account. To correct, export, or delete it beyond what the account dashboard already lets you do yourself, contact us using the details below.

7. Children's privacy

WeemFX isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
