Free Beta — built for Chaos Vantage 3.3+

Your whole studio,
rendering Vantage.

WeemFX Farm turns every PC in your office into a render node for Chaos Vantage. Submit .vrscene jobs, queue them by priority, and let your machines render headlessly overnight — while you watch every frame land from one Monitor.

Why WeemFX Farm

Everything a Vantage pipeline needs

Modelled on the Server / Worker / Monitor layout you already know from Deadline — built specifically for real-time ray tracing in Chaos Vantage.

A queue that runs itself

Priorities, automatic retries, worker affinity, suspend & resume. If a node drops offline mid-frame, the job is requeued automatically — no babysitting.

Live Monitor control room

A native desktop Monitor with sortable columns, search, multi-select bulk actions, live progress with ETA, per-job logs, and a rich right-click menu.

Smart submitter

Drag & drop a scene, and the frame range, FPS, and animation camera are auto-filled from your .vantage. Save and share setting profiles with your team.

Unlimited render nodes

No per-node fee, ever. Add every workstation and render box you own to the same farm and put them all to work.

One installer, three components

A single Windows installer with selectable Server, Monitor, and Worker components. The server auto-starts at boot with a system-tray controller.

How it works

Up and rendering in three steps

1

Install the Server on one machine

Run the installer, tick Server, and it starts at boot with a tray controller. This machine holds the queue and coordinates everything.

2

Add Workers on every PC you own

Install the Worker on each render machine, point it at the server, click Connect. Each node shows a live preview of the frame it's rendering.

3

Submit from the Monitor and walk away

Drag a .vrscene into the submitter, set your render settings, hit Submit. Jobs render in priority order and land straight in your output folder.

Free Beta

Free while WeemFX Farm is in beta

Every feature, unlimited render nodes, no cost. We're gathering feedback before the first paid release — download it, put it on your farm, and tell us what you think.

A Chaos Vantage licence (3.3.0+) is required on each rendering node and is not included — WeemFX Farm is an independent product, not affiliated with Chaos. Pricing after the beta will be announced with plenty of notice.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Windows PCs on a local network, and Chaos Vantage 3.3.0 or newer on each render node (3.3.0 re-introduced command-line rendering). Each node also needs its own Chaos licence seat to render — WeemFX handles the queueing and distribution, Vantage does the rendering.
Yes — WeemFX Farm is completely free while it's in beta. No credit card, no sign-up, no locked features. There's even a Simulate mode so you can test the whole queue and multi-machine workflow without tying up a GPU. We'll give plenty of notice before any pricing changes once the beta ends.
No. Mix workstations, dedicated render boxes, and that spare PC at reception. Faster machines simply pick up more jobs. You can also pin a job to a specific machine (worker affinity) when it matters — say, the node with the most VRAM for a heavy scene.
The server retries the job automatically (you set the retry count per job) before marking it failed. If a node drops offline mid-render, a heartbeat sweep catches it within 30 seconds and requeues the job on another machine. Chaos licence outages are handled specially — they never consume a retry or fail your job.
Yes. Besides the Monitor's submitter, there's a command-line submitter (single scenes or whole folders at once) and the server exposes a clean REST API — so you can wire WeemFX into whatever pipeline you already have.
Submit a ticket from your account and include your job log (right-click a job → copy) — that's usually enough for us to diagnose an issue. As a beta tester, your reports go straight to the developer.
